Environmentalgraffiti.com worth looking at.

I now have eight articles posted on this site and two more waiting to be vetted. I really enjoy the challenge of finding images appropriate to the subject matter as it makes the whole process far more interesting and exciting. Please feel free to take a good look round. I'll be surprised if you don't like what you find.

PLANTING A TREE FOR A BLOG

I'm about to get a tree planted for my blog. The latest post there pointed me to this initiative to reforest the 5,500 acres of Plumas National Forest in California with 792,000 trees by the Arbor Day Foundation. The area at Plumas was devastated by fire in 2007 and replanting has started this spring.

The "My blog is carbon neutral" initiative, was originally started in Germany by the "Make it Green" programme, that has the goal to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. A tree is planted for each blog that participates thereby neutralising the blog's carbon footprint for the next 50 years! Every tree counts! Everyone can make a small contribution to the environment and you can too.

Just write a short blog post about the programme and include one of the buttons. You can get to them by clicking on my button above. Send the link to your blogpost to CO2-neutral@kaufda.de and they will plant a tree for you, neutralising the carbon dioxide emissions of your blog.

My own is writelink.co.uk/community/blogs/?action=get_rss&pid=948

You are cordially invited along to view the site and the blogs. It really feels like a community with them and we have a weekly chat on a Monday evening at 7.30pm in the chat room. There are a lot os us who really enjoy being a part of it so do have a look. You'll see it really is worth it.
